  1. The mid-term practicum consist of the following topics:

    1. Identify the parts of the microscope,and function of each.

    2. Calculate total magnification.

    3. Identify the parts of the cell on the cell model or picture, and briefly explain the function of each.

    4. Identify the different stages of the cell cycle (look at the pictures of the cell cycle), and briefly explain each.

    5. Identify tissues

    6. Identify the parts of the skin. Look at the skin model.

    7. Identify bones and bony markings.

    8. Identify the male a female pelvis, and briefly describe differences in between them.

    9. Describe isotonic, hypotonic, and hypertonic solutions.

    10. Identify cat muscles.

    11. Identify human muscles.

    The mid-term practicum consist of about 32 stations and, it has a value of 100 points. You have to adentify about 2-4 questios per station. You will have about 2 min and 30 sec per station to answer questions.
