COURSE DESCRIPTION Introduction to Human Anatomy Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to identify and describe the major structural characteristics of the cells, tissues, and organs comprising the following systems of the human body: skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, and endocrine systems. The student will also be able to describe the locations of the major tissues and organs of these systems. Successful completion of this course with a grade of “C” or better, in combination with Physiology 1, satisfies the entrance requirement for the Associate Degree Program in Nursing.
